Experience 12+ Years of overall Service Now experience with 7+ Years of hands-on Service Now Sec Ops experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Service Now Sec Ops Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Security Operations solutions on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate should possess deep hands-on experience in Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), Threat Intelligence, CMDB architecture, integrations, and Service Now platform architecture. The candidate will be responsible for defining solution architecture, leading Sec Ops implementations, designing scalable integrations, driving best practices, and collaborating with security and infrastructure teams to build enterprise-grade cybersecurity workflows and automation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Service Now Security Operations solutions
- Define scalable and secure architecture for Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), Threat Intelligence, and Configuration Compliance
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise-wide Service Now Sec Ops implementations and transformation initiatives
- Design and govern integrations with security and vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Crowd Strike, Microsoft Defender, and Splunk
- Define CMDB, CSDM, and service mapping strategies aligned with Sec Ops use cases
- Architect REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server deployments, and automation workflows
- Establish Service Now development standards, governance, security controls, and best practices
- Lead technical workshops, requirement gathering sessions, architecture reviews, and stakeholder discussions
- Collaborate with SOC, Security, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Enterprise Architecture teams
- Drive platform optimization, scalability, upgrade planning, and performance improvements
- Mentor developers, technical leads, and implementation teams
- Support presales activities, solution estimations, and technical proposals when required Technical Skills
- Robust expertise in Service Now Security Operations (Sec Ops)
- Deep hands-on experience in Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR)
- Solid Service Now platform architecture and development experience
- Java Script, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, ACLs, UI Policies, and Flow Designer
- Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MID Server architecture
- CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping knowledge
- Experience integrating Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Crowd Strike, Splunk, and Microsoft Defender
- Experience with Service Now platform governance and architecture best practices
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management and security incident lifecycle
- Experience with ITSM, ITIL, and enterprise service management processes
- Knowledge of cloud security, Dev SecOps, and enterprise security frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and debugging capabilities Preferred Certifications
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- CIS – Security Incident Response (SIR)
- CIS – Vulnerability Response (VR)
- Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred Good to Have
- Experience with IRM/GRC implementations
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation programs
