Senior Executive - Design & Development (Puducherry)

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare plan and schedule for product design and development activities in the unit / plant, including feasibility studies for current projects 2. Responsible for designing and developing parts / components as per project plan and APQP process / guidelines for identified projects 3. Coordinate for testing, validation, parts development, proto manufacturing and product ionisation activities, as per product development timelines 4. Support process engineering / process improvement initiatives in the unit, as applicable. 5.Should possess proficiency in using drafting / CAD, other design and analysis tools including Solid works / Pro E / CATIA. 6.Should possess basic knowledge of product design and development engineering. 7.Should possess experience in auto component / ancillary industry and have understanding of the APQP processes.
