Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in Puducherry, India.

The Quality

Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality standards across projects, ensuring that deliverables meet internal guidelines, client expectations, and applicable regulations. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining quality procedures, performing inspections and audits, reviewing documentation, and identifying non-conformities. The role involves working closely with project managers, design and engineering teams to analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

The Quality

Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, prepare quality reports and metrics, and contribute to training and awareness sessions on quality practices.

Qualifications Experience in Product Quality, including monitoring quality indicators, analysing defects, and driving corrective and preventive actions. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline) or an equivalent technical qualification. Familiarity with relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred. Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams on-site.
