Lathe Operator Mohiuddinpur

Operate tool room machines such as lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and other conventional or CNC machines. Manufacture, modify, and repair dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machine components as per drawings. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspection of tooling and equipment. Ensure tools and dies are maintained in positive working condition to minimize production downtime. Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and specifications accurately. Carry out tool setting, alignment, fitting, and assembly activities. Monitor tool wear and recommend repair or replacement as required. Maintain proper records of tool maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs. Follow quality standards and ensure components meet specified tolerances. Adhere to safety procedures, 5S, Kaizen, and company policies. Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, and cost reduction. Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments for tooling requirements.

Job Requirement:- Knowledge of Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinding, Drilling, and Bench Fitting. Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments. Knowledge of dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Understanding of machining processes and tolerances. Basic knowledge of TPM, 5S, and workplace safety. ITI (Fitter / Turner / Machinist / Tool & Die Maker) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 2–5 years of experience in Tool Room operations in an automotive manufacturing workplace.
