Process Engineer (Scale -Up) (Bengaluru)

Process Engineer (Scale -Up) Location: Bangalore South, Karnataka, India Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize plant process performance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Prepare and review process engineering documents such as PFDs, P&IDs;, process calculations, equipment sizing, and operating procedures.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and plant startup/shutdown activities.
- Perform process simulations and evaluate process improvements for productivity and energy efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and maintenance teams for smooth plant operation.
- Ensure compliance with process safety standards, HSE guidelines, and quality requirements.
- Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for operational issues.
- Assist in vendor discussions, technical evaluations, and project execution activities.
- Maintain proper engineering documentation and reports. Requirements
- Bachelor degree in chemical engineering or related discipline.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in process engineering in chemical industries/ Specialty Chemicals
- Valuable understanding of process calculations, fluid flow, heat transfer, and mass transfer principles.
- Knowledge of process equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, separators, and utilities.
- Familiarity with process safety standards and industrial best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software/tools. Preferred Skills
- Experience in commissioning or pilot plant operations.
- Knowledge of process automation and instrumentation coordination.
- Exposure to Chlorine, H2O2, hydrogen or advanced material industries will be an added advantage.
