Building on this legacy, APD is now leading an NGO Ecosystem Building Initiative to strengthen 200+ disability-focused NGOs through capacity building, knowledge sharing, and sectoral collaboration. Role Overview The Content & Knowledge Management Manager will be central to the success of this initiative. This role goes beyond traditional content development
- it is about capturing sectoral knowledge, transforming it into accessible and impactful learning modules, and creating digital systems (LMS & KMS) that enable peer learning across the disability NGO ecosystem. The position requires a mix of content design skills, digital system coordination, and sectoral documentation expertise , making it ideal for a qualified who enjoys building knowledge platforms that create long-term impact. Key Responsibilities 1. **Content Development & Learning Modules
- Design and develop structured training modules and toolkits tailored to the capacity-building needs of disability NGOs.
- Collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts to ensure content quality, technical accuracy, and sector relevance.
- Develop facilitator guides, participant handouts, and e-learning formats that are engaging, inclusive, and accessible. 1. **Knowledge Management (KMS) System
- Establish and manage the projects Knowledge Management System , ensuring systematic archiving of frameworks, SOPs, case studies, and best practices.
- Curate external resources and global best practices, making them easily accessible for disability NGOs.
- **Drive usage and adoption of the KMS among ecosystem partners through orientations and follow-ups. 1. **Learning Management System (LMS)
- Lead the setup and rollout of a Learning Management System to host training content, online courses, and peer-learning modules.
- Work with vendors/consultants to design LMS features suited to NGO participants (accessibility, multilingual content, discussion forums).
- **Ensure at least 75% adoption and engagement among NGO cohorts using the LMS. 1. **Knowledge Capture & Documentation
- Document learnings, case studies, and outcomes from workshops, roundtables, and field practices.
- Produce knowledge briefs, reports, and communication pieces that highlight APDs leadership in ecosystem building. 1.
