Position- TRC ManagerLocation- Sector 5, ManesarExperience- 7+ YearsWorking Days- 6 Role Summary:Team Lead – Laptop/Desktop Repair is responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality repair and refurbishment of laptops and desktops. The role includes troubleshooting hardware and board-level issues, overseeing parts replacement, maintaining repair quality, managing spare parts, and ensuring proper workflow, reporting, and team performance. Key Responsibilities-:1. Team Leadership & Operations ManagementLead, supervise, and support technicians engaged in laptop/desktop diagnosis,repair, testing, and refurbishment.Allocate tasks, manage daily workflow, and ensure timely completion of repairs.Train and mentor technicians on troubleshooting methods, board-level repairtechniques, and test procedures.Monitor team discipline, attendance, and performance.2. Repair & Technical ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced diagnosis of laptops and desktops including power issues, displayissues, charging faults, overheating, and performance failures.Conduct testing, fault isolation, and verification of repair quality.Oversee component-level and part-level replacement such as:o RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboard, battery, displayo Motherboard, I/O boards, DC jack, and thermal modulesExecute or supervise chipset- and board-level troubleshooting using schematics,multimeters, oscilloscopes, and BGA workstations.Ensure proper documentation of repair findings, parts used, and service logs.3. Parts Management & Procurement CoordinationReview spare part requirements and ensure timely procurement of genuine orapproved parts.Work with procurement teams/vendors to maintain optimal stock levels.Verify incoming parts for accuracy, compatibility, and quality.Track usage, wastage, and cost efficiency of parts.4. Quality Control & ReportingEnsure repairs meet company quality standards and customer satisfaction targets.Conduct final QC checks on completed units before dispatch.Maintain and update repair MIS, daily output reports, TAT reports, and partsconsumption reports.Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.5.
