Vacature Engineer (Yamuna Nagar)

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Costing

 Prepare cost estimates for equipment like heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, reactors,

tanks, etc.

 Calculate material requirements (plates, pipes, tubes, forgings, fittings).

 Estimate fabrication hours, welding hours, NDT, machining, painting, and testing.

 Prepare BOQ and costing sheets.

2. Technical Proposal Preparation

 Read and understand customer RFQs, drawings, specifications, data sheets.

 Prepare technical offers and compliance sheets.

 Highlight deviations and clarifications to customers.

3. Coordination

 Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for inputs.

 Take vendor quotations for bought-out items.

 Support the sales team during techno-commercial discussions.

4. Documentation

 Maintain estimation records, previous costing data, and learning sheets.

 Prepare project cost summaries and assist in pricing strategies.

Skills Required

 Strong understanding of fabrication of heavy equipment.

 Knowledge of ASME, TEMA, IBR, and basic design codes.

 Positive in Excel and basic engineering calculations.

 Ability to read drawings (GA, fabrication, isometrics).
