Montessori Prime School, Yellandu, is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic Physical Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspiring students in the fields of Physics and Chemistry, fostering a deep curiosity for scientific inquiry, and maintaining the high academic and behavioral standards of our campus. Key Responsibilities1. Academic Delivery & Curriculum Management
- Lesson Planning: Design and execute engaging, structured lessons in Physics and Chemistry aligned with the CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Conceptual Clarity: Focus on foundational conceptual clarity, moving beyond rote learning to help students understand the real-world applications of physical sciences.
- Practical Learning: Actively utilize the school's science laboratories to conduct experiments, ensuring students develop strong practical and observational skills. 2. Classroom & Student Management
- Inspirational Environment: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Differentiated Instruction: Identify and support varying student needs, providing remedial support to struggling students while challenging high achievers.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Regularly design, administer, and grade periodic tests, assignments, and term examinations. Provide constructive, timely feedback to students. 3. Administrative & Co-Curricular Duties
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of student attendance, academic progress, internal assessments, and laboratory logs.
- School Events: Actively participate in organizing science exhibitions, inter-school competitions, assembly reports, and campus events.
- Parent-Teacher Communication: Conduct regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to provide transparent updates on student performance, behavior, and growth. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent specialization (B.Sc. / M.Sc.).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience teaching Physical Science / High School Science in a reputed CBSE school is preferred. Freshers with exceptional subject knowledge and communication skills may be considered.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of the local language is an added advantage for parent communication. Key Skills & Competencies
