Job Overview
Eastern Road Carriers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Operations Associate to establish and manage ground-level transport activities across our West Medinipur and Haldia sites. This is the first dedicated hire for this corridor — meaning you will not be stepping into a pre-built team or a defined process. You will be the operation here.
The role is hands-on and field-first. You will work directly with drivers, clients, and the broader operations team to keep shipments moving on time. If you want a role where your name is on the outcomes — where your effort is directly visible and your judgment genuinely matters — this is it.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate truck loading, unloading, and vehicle placement at client and depot sites
Track live vehicle movements and keep dispatch logs accurate and up to date
Be the primary on-ground point of contact for drivers and clients at your sites
Manage driver communication, resolve field-level issues, and escalate when needed
Maintain daily trip sheets, mileage records, and delivery confirmations
Assist with fuel tracking, petty cash records, and basic expense documentation
Ensure site-level compliance with safety and operational procedures
