Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Housekeeping Supervisor/In-Charge to oversee housekeeping operations, maintain cleanliness standards, and manage housekeeping staff within the hospital premises. The candidate will ensure hygiene, sanitation, patient safety, and smooth daily housekeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities Supervise housekeeping staff and daily cleaning activities Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across wards, OP areas, ICU, rooms, corridors, and common areas Assign duties and monitor staff attendance and performance Conduct regular inspections to maintain hospital cleanliness standards Ensure proper waste segregation and biomedical waste handling procedures Coordinate with maintenance and nursing departments for cleaning requirements Maintain housekeeping inventory, chemicals, and cleaning equipment Train housekeeping staff on safety, hygiene, and infection control practices Handle patient or visitor complaints related to cleanliness and services Prepare housekeeping reports and maintain records Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control policies

Required Skills Leadership and team management skills Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and sanitation standards Positive communication and coordination ability Problem-solving and time management skills Attention to detail and cleanliness standards

Preferred Qualifications Any Degree / Diploma Experience in hospital or hotel housekeeping preferred Knowledge of infection control and biomedical waste management is an added advantage

Tools & Knowledge Housekeeping checklists and reports Cleaning chemicals and equipment handling MS Office / Hospital Management System (basic knowledge)

Additional Responsibilities (Optional) Staff scheduling and shift management Stock and linen management Vendor coordination for housekeeping materials Grooming and discipline monitoring of housekeeping staff

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹23,000.00
- ₹35,000.00 per month
