Engineer R&D (Sonipat)

Job Description – R&D; Engineer (Mobile & Electronic Accessories) •Responsible for research, design, and development of Power Banks, Lithium-Ion Battery Packs (18650 / Li-Polymer), USB Cables (Type-C, Micro-USB), Wall Chargers, Car Chargers, Bluetooth Devices (TWS, speakers), and other mobile and automotive accessories. •Design, develop, and validate the power bank & Battery Management Systems (BMS) ensuring protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, overcurrent, and thermal risks. •Work on fast-charging technologies including Power Delivery (PD), Quick Charge (QC), and multi-protocol charging systems. •Coordinate PCB design, charging circuits, SMPS power supplies, Bluetooth modules, and protection circuits with internal or external design teams. •Develop prototypes, conduct engineering validation tests (EVT), pilot production trials, and support smooth transition to mass production. •Prepare and maintain technical documentation including product specifications, BOM, circuit details, drawings, validation reports, and compliance records. •Conduct electrical, mechanical, environmental, drop, vibration, temperature rise, load, and aging tests for finished products. •Perform lithium battery cycle testing, capacity testing, and safety validation as per applicable standards. •Validate USB cables for current carrying capacity, high-speed data transfer, bend life, pull strength, and durability testing. •Ensure compliance with BIS, CE, RoHS, UN38.3, and other applicable safety and regulatory standards. •Analyze product failures, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). •Work closely with Production, Quality, and Purchase teams for cost reduction, material selection (PC, ABS, PVC, TPE, etc.), and continuous product improvement. •Improve product efficiency, charging performance, thermal management, and overall reliability. •Study market trends and emerging technologies in power electronics, lithium battery systems, and mobile accessories to support innovation. •Support certification audits and customer technical queries related to product design and safety Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹18,000.00
