Taxmann is hiring a Senior Social Media Specialist to manage and execute social media content for Taxmann and Centax. The role involves handling high-volume, time-sensitive content with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. It includes publishing and managing content across LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube. You will also review and approve content for internal teams, including SEO, Performance Marketing, and Editorial, ensuring consistency and accuracy. This role is best suited for someone detail-oriented, disciplined with deadlines, and comfortable working with legal, tax, and professional content for audiences such as Chartered Accountants, advocates, and corporate professionals.The Candidate Will Have Responsibilities Across The Following Functions Editorial Operations and Content Publishing: Plan, draft, and publish social media content across Taxmann and Centax channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube). Maintain platform-specific tone, structure, and formatting standards.Execute the social media calendar in alignment with product launches, statutory events (Union Budget, ITR, Tax Audit, Yearly Wrap-up), and editorial priorities. Blog And Long-Form Content Manage the blog publishing pipeline on WordPress for Taxmann and Centax. Redraft, structure, and refine articles and event-driven content.Maintain blog/content tracking sheets covering content status, publication date, author attribution, and performance signals. News Content Publish daily statutory and regulatory news updates for Taxmann and Centax wordpress and social channels. Ensure factual accuracy, citation discipline (notification numbers, dates, source URLs), and turnaround within defined SLAs.Editorial Review And Quality Control Serve as the final editorial check for all content shared by internal teams (SEO, Performance Marketing, and Design) before publishing. Validate accuracy of statutory references, case citations, dates, section numbers, threshold limits, and quantum figures.Enforce brand tone, style guide, and platform-specific formatting across every published asset. Campaign And Emailer Support Support weekly emailer production - drafting, structuring, and final review. Coordinate with the Performance Marketing team on ad copy, creatives, and promotional content.Update WhatsApp and other distribution channels with approved campaign assets. Engagement And Community Management Monitor and respond to comments, queries, and direct messages across all social platforms. Escalate sensitive or domain-specific queries to relevant editorial owners. Maintain a consistent professional voice in all interactions.Cross-Team Coordination And Continuity Work with Editorial, SEO, Performance Marketing, Design, and Product teams to align on content priorities. Manage content scheduling and posting in the absence of team members, ensuring uninterrupted operations. Validate all social content posted by team members for accuracy and brand consistency.Operational Tracking And Documentation Maintain master tracking sheets for blogs, news, emailers, and campaign assets. Track product/book release schedules to ensure timely promotional posts. Document content workflows and publishing SOPs for repeatability. Event-Based And Time-Sensitive DeliverablesManage high-priority content cycles during ITR season, Tax Audit, Union Budget, GST Council meetings, year-end wrap-ups, and other statutory events. Deliver on tight SLAs without compromise on factual accuracy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Commerce, or Law preferred)3-5 years of experience in social media operations, content publishing, or editorial roles. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently. Working knowledge of WordPress, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Page Manager, and basic scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or equivalent).Familiarity with Indian taxation, corporate, or legal content is a strong advantage. Excellent written English with strong editorial judgement and grammar discipline. Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
