With a commitment to customer satisfaction, Sneakare offers all the essentials for cleaning, maintaining, protecting, and enhancing sneakers in one place.Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and detailed oriented Purchasing Intern to support our supply chain operations. The intern will assist the team in managing day-to-day purchasing activities, coordinating with vendors and ensuring smooth communication between internal departments such as Production, Warehouse and Logistics.Key Responsibilities Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs). Coordinate with vendors for order follow-ups, confirmations, and delivery timelines. Maintain strong communication and coordination with Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams. Maintain and update purchasing records, documentation, and procurement databases.Track order status and provide timely updates to internal teams. Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams for procurement planning. Assist in vendor negotiations, pricing discussions, and sourcing activities. Conduct market and brand trend research to support procurement decisions.Support Research&Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) activities, including sourcing materials and identifying new vendors. Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. Required Skills&Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or a related field. Basic understanding of brands, market trends, and sourcing processes. Knowledge of Purchase Order creation and procurement workflows. Good communication and vendor management skills. Understanding of inventory operations.Working knowledge of MS Excel. Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented, punctual, and responsible approach to work.
