Homestay Trainer (Kohima)

Pay: ₹22,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month : We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Homestay Trainer to conduct training sessions for homestay owners, local youth, and hospitality service providers under tourism and livelihood development programmes in Kohima / Manipur. The trainer will be responsible for building participants’ skills in guest handling, hospitality standards, homestay operations, cleanliness, local tourism promotion, and customer service through practical and interactive training methods. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom and field-based training sessions on homestay management and hospitality services.
- Train participants in guest relations, customer service, communication skills, and hospitality etiquette.
- Provide practical guidance on room preparation, hygiene standards, food presentation, and housekeeping.
- Conduct sessions on online booking platforms, digital marketing, and tourism promotion.
- Guide participants on local culture presentation, responsible tourism, and visitor engagement.
- Organize role-plays, demonstrations, mock guest interactions, and experiential learning activities.
- Support trainees in improving spoken English and skilled communication for tourism services.
- Maintain attendance records, training reports, assessments, and participant progress documentation.
- Coordinate with programme teams, tourism stakeholders, and local communities for effective implementation. Skills Required:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality, tourism, and homestay operations.
- Ability to conduct practical and activity-based training sessions.
- Good interpersonal and community engagement skills.
- Basic understanding of digital tools and online booking systems.
- Ability to work with rural and community-based tourism groups. Eligibility:
- Graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or any related discipline.
- Preference for candidates with certifications in hospitality or tourism training.
- 2–3 years of experience in hospitality training, tourism development, or hotel/homestay operations.
