Assistant Plant Controller Kolhapur

We are seeking an experienced and agile Deputy Plant Head to support the overall manufacturing operations of the plant of a multinational organization. The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, production performance, quality standards, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing function. The role is based near Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

Position : Deputy Plant Head (Foundry/Casting)

The ideal candidate will bring solid leadership capabilities, deep manufacturing expertise, and a hands-on approach to managing complex production environments while contributing to the long-term growth and operational excellence of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

Assist in planning, organizing, and managing day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production targets

Oversee the complete manufacturing cycle from raw material planning and procurement to finished goods dispatch

Monitor production schedules, workflows, and delivery timelines while ensuring quality compliance

Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational performance

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and guide production and shop-floor teams

Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning

Conduct performance reviews and address team development requirements

Support capability-building and succession planning initiatives

Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing processes across operations

Work closely with the Quality team to minimize defects, reduce rework, and improve product quality

Drive corrective and preventive actions for quality-related issues

Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems

Health, Safety & Compliance

Promote and maintain a robust safety culture across the plant
