Accounts & Operations Executive (Kolkata)

Job Title: Accounts Executive/ Accounts & Operations Executive. Job Location: Kolkata College Street Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Accountant to manage the daily financial operations for our publishing company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, and bookkeeping software. Key Responsibilities:
- Order & Stock Management: Receive daily orders, manage inventory records, and ensure stock availability.
- Billing & Bookkeeping: Create GST invoices against delivery challans and maintain daily accounting entries in Tally.
- Logistics & Dispatch: Coordinate with transport/courier services over the phone to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Payment Follow-up: Maintain the Debtors' statement and professionally follow up with clients/distributors for timely payment recovery.
- Basic Admin: Assist in basic office administration and documentation tasks as required. Requirements & Skills:
- Education: B.Com graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2- 3 years of experience in billing, accounts, or back-office operations. (Freshers with solid tally knowledge can apply).
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Tally, GST billing, and MS Excel.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively handle logistics partners and distributors over the phone.
