We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our food services department and create nourishing meals for our students, staff, and visitors. Job Summary: The Head Chef will be responsible for managing the school kitchen operations, planning and preparing daily meals, and ensuring that all meals meet nutritional standards and school dietary requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale food preparation, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and a passion for creating meals that students will enjoy and benefit from. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the school kitchen, ensuring all meals are prepared on time and meet quality standards.
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of efficiency and ensure they adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain food storage in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Prepare and serve meals for students, staff, and special events as needed.
- Work closely with the school administration to align meal offerings with school wellness policies and promote healthy eating initiatives. Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹30,000.00
