The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the overall business operations of Futura SSL India Pvt. Ltd., ensuring operational excellence, profitability, sustainable growth, and market expansion. The role requires strategic leadership across sales operations, supply chain management, procurement, project execution, distribution networks, customer service, and business process improvement within the lighting industry. The COO will work closely with the leadership team to drive organizational performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Futura operates in the architectural and lighting solutions segment with a growing presence in the Indian lighting market.

Responsibilities

Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's vision, business goals, and growth plans.Drive expansion into recent markets, distribution channels, and business segments.Collaborate with the CEO and senior management in long‑term business planning and decision‑making.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments.Operations ManagementOversee end‑to‑end business operations including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, project execution, and customer support.Ensure efficient supply chain management and vendor development.Optimize operational processes to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and service quality.Implement best practices and operational controls to support business scalability.Sales & Business Development SupportWork closely with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve revenue targets.Support channel partner development, dealer management, and institutional business growth.Ensure seamless coordination between sales, operations, and project teams.Financial & Commercial ManagementMonitor operational budgets, profitability, and cost‑control initiatives.Review pricing strategies, operational expenditures, and resource allocation.Support leadership in forecasting, business planning, and risk management.Team Leadership & Organizational DevelopmentLead and mentor department heads and operational teams.Build a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Drive workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.Project & Customer ManagementEnsure timely execution and delivery of lighting projects.Enhance customer experience through effective service delivery and issue resolution.Develop systems to improve customer retention and satisfaction.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, quality standards, and industry requirements.
