- Glass Processing Unit About the Role We are setting up a new glass processing plant at Bilota, near Udaipur, and are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical infrastructure, installation, and commissioning of the facility. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in industrial power distribution, switchgear, and power quality systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and commission electrical systems for the glass processing plant, including HT/LT distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), and control panels.
- Oversee selection, installation, and maintenance of Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCBs), ACBs, and associated switchgear.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Active Harmonic Filters and capacitor banks to ensure power quality and compliance with utility standards.
- Prepare SLDs, cable schedules, grounding layouts, and electrical BOMs for the plant.
- Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, and utility providers for erection and energization.
- Ensure adherence to Indian Electricity Rules, IE standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root-cause analysis for electrical failures.
- Manage spares inventory and prepare CAPEX/OPEX budgets for the electrical department. Required Skills & Experience
- 10-15 years of post-qualification experience in heavy industrial / manufacturing electrical systems.
- Proven expertise in panel design & fabrication, VCB / ACB / switchgear operation & maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with harmonic analysis, active/passive harmonic filters, and power factor correction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN for drawing preparation.
- Robust knowledge of relay coordination, protection settings, and energy metering.
- Familiarity with DG sets, UPS systems, and SCADA/DCS interfacing is a plus.
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. What We Offer
