Site Project Manager – Job Description & Responsibilities Projects: HVAC Systems, Clean Room Construction, PUF/Clean Room Panels, Epoxy Flooring, AHU Installation, Air Washers, Exhaust & Axial Fans, Ducting Works, Clean Room Ceilings & Partitions Position: Site Project Manager Purpose of Role: To plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and successfully complete HVAC and Clean Room projects while ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, project schedules, and budgetary targets. Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
- Manage complete site execution of HVAC, Clean Room Panel, and Epoxy Flooring projects.
- Develop project schedules, manpower deployment plans, and material requirement plans.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
- Ensure all activities are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. 2. HVAC Installation Management
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of:
- AHUs (Air Handling Units)
- Air Washers
- Exhaust Fans and Axial Fans
- VRF/VRV Systems
- Chilled Water Piping Systems
- HVAC Ducting Systems
- Insulation Works
- Fresh Air and Exhaust Air Systems
- Ensure proper alignment, support, and installation quality of all HVAC equipment. 3. Clean Room Construction Management
- Supervise installation of clean room wall panels, ceilings, doors, windows, and partitions.
- Ensure compliance with clean room standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate HVAC and clean room interface requirements to achieve desired cleanliness classifications.
- Monitor sealing, finishing, and leak-proof construction practices. 4. High-Level Installation & Safety Management
- Manage ducting, piping, AHU, and equipment installations at heights up to 12 meters and above.
- Ensure protected use of scaffolding, boom lifts, ladders, and working platforms.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, work permits, and site safety procedures. 5. Epoxy Flooring Works
- Supervise surface preparation, grinding, moisture testing, and epoxy application.
- Monitor flooring quality, thickness, curing process, and finish standards.
- Coordinate flooring activities with clean room construction schedules. 6. Quality Control & Documentation
- Ensure work execution complies with approved quality standards.
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports, inspection reports, and material records.
- Coordinate inspections with clients and consultants.
- Prepare punch lists and ensure timely closure. 7. Material & Resource Management
- Monitor material consumption and inventory.
- Verify delivered materials against approved specifications.
- Coordinate procurement requirements to avoid project delays.
- Manage subcontractors and site workforce efficiently. 8. Testing & Commissioning
- Plan and supervise testing and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate air balancing, pressure testing, temperature and humidity validation.
- Ensure system performance meets design and client requirements.
- Support clean room validation and performance qualification activities. 9. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and management.
- Provide progress updates and resolve site-related issues.
- Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approvals. 10. Cost & Schedule Control
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Control project costs through efficient resource utilization.
- Support billing, measurement sheets, and project close-out documentation. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, clean room construction, and industrial projects.
- Understanding of AHU, Air Washer, Exhaust Systems, Ducting, Piping, and Clean Room Panels.
- Knowledge of safety standards for working at heights and construction sites.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting. Reporting To Project Director / General Manager – Projects KPI / Performance Indicators
