The Assistant Manager
- Tool Room (Injection Moulding) will be responsible for overseeing the tool room operations, ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, and modification of injection molds. This role requires solid technical skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of injection molding processes. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage tool room staff, including mold makers, technicians, and apprentices. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and modification of injection molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for molds. Troubleshoot mold-related issues and implement effective solutions. Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely mold availability and minimize downtime. Manage the tool room budget and ensure cost-effective operations. Maintain accurate records of mold maintenance, repairs, and modifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mold technology and injection molding processes.
