Assistant Manager - Drivetrain (Chakan)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB AND KEY RESULT AREAS
- Should have a clear understanding of manual transmission and it`s sub systems (shift system, synchronizers, gears, bearings etc)
- Should have a hands-on experience of 3D CAD software (Catia preferred)
- Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T;
- BOM preparation and maintaining (TC awareness preferred)
- Adequate knowledge in DFMEA, DFM, DFC and DFS
- Adequate knowledge in casting and machining process
- Ability to interact with development team and supplier for component development
- Versatile to work with CFT and address the vehicle level integration concerns
- Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team; ability to deal with validation team for validation concerns and support
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, G8D for concern resolution
- Time Management for self & CFT for on time delivery of the project Experience Educational Qualification: B.E. Mechanical

Relevant Experience (in yr.) 3-6 years
