Pharmacist Kozhikode

Medication Dispensing and Management: Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions. Manage medication storage, inventory, and distribution within the hospital.

Patient Care and Counseling: Provide patients with information about their medications, including dosage, administration, potential side effects, and storage. Address patient concerns and questions regarding medications.

Drug Information and Collaboration: Provide drug information to healthcare professionals to assist in medication decisions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize medication therapy.

Quality Assurance and Safety: Ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations and protocols. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to medication safety.

Other Duties: May be involved in medication reconciliation, adverse drug event reporting, and medication budget planning. May assist in the preparation of sterile medications or other specialized pharmacy services.
