Duty Medical Officer (Kolathur)

Job Summary: The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing immediate and continuous medical care to patients admitted in the hospital and attending emergency cases. The DMO ensures proper assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of patient care during duty hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and assess patients on admission and during rounds.
- Provide appropriate medical treatment and emergency care.
- Attend emergency and casualty cases promptly.
- Monitor patient condition and maintain accurate medical records.
- Coordinate with consultants regarding patient management and treatment plans.
- Perform basic medical procedures and emergency interventions.
- Ensure timely administration of medications and investigations.
- Maintain proper documentation, discharge summaries, and case sheets.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Handle medico-legal cases as per hospital policies.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and training programs. Required Skills:
