Subtitle & Transcript Specialist Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Subtitle & Transcript Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong listening skills and the ability to transform spoken content into clear, precise, and easy-to-read subtitles and transcripts. This role is essential for ensuring that our content is accessible and engaging for all audiences.

Key Roles & Responsibilities Convert spoken content from audio or video into accurate subtitles and transcripts. Ensure clarity, readability, and precision in all written content. Simplify rapid-paced speech into clean, coherent text while maintaining the original message. Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deadlines. Review and edit subtitles and transcripts for accuracy and consistency. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in subtitling and transcription.

Skills & Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of experience in content writing, subtitling, or transcription. Strong listening skills and attention to detail. Excellent command of the English language, with a focus on clarity and simplicity. Familiarity with subtitling tools such as Descript, Aegisub, or similar software is a plus, but not required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Robust written communication skills. Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and language usage. Ability to handle quick-paced audio content and deliver high-quality results. Basic understanding of formatting and timing in subtitles.
