Role Overview We are looking for a Museum Interior / Exhibition Designer who can translate narratives into spatial experiences. The role involves designing immersive, culturally rooted, and visitor-centric environments for museums, galleries, and interpretation centers. The ideal candidate should be able to merge architecture, storytelling, materiality, and visual communication into cohesive exhibition environments.Key Responsibilities Develop conceptual design strategies for museum galleries and exhibition spaces Translate curatorial narratives into spatial layouts, zoning, and visitor journeys Design display systems (showcases, panels, plinths, interactive zones) Integrate lighting, graphics, and multimedia elements within the spacePrepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentation visuals Coordinate with content writers, graphic designers, historians, and consultants Ensure alignment with project budgets, timelines, and execution feasibility Supervise design intent during site execution and installation phases Required Skills&Competencies Strong concept development and storytelling ability Understanding of visitor experience design and circulation planning Knowledge of materials, finishes, and exhibit fabrication techniques Sensitivity towards cultural context, heritage, and craft integration Proficiency in: SketchUp / Rhino / AutoCADAdobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams Qualifications Bachelor's / Master's in Architecture / Interior Design / Exhibition Design Relevant experience in: Museums / galleries Exhibition or experiential design Set design / cultural spaces (preferred)Preferred Attributes (Bonus) Experience with interactive exhibits (AR/VR, digital installations) Exposure to wayfinding and graphic systems Interest in history, culture, and public spaces Experience in government / institutional projects Deliverables Expected Concept sheets and story-driven design presentationsDetailed GFC drawings and design packages Coordination drawings with graphics and services integration Site-level inputs for execution quality control What We Value Design thinking rooted in context and narrative Ability to move from idea→ experience → execution Balance of aesthetics, functionality, and storytelling
