Position Title: Quality Manager
Immediate joiners preferred*
Reports To: Department Head / Project Manager
Location: Project Site
- UP, Rajasthan, Gujarat Role Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance, quality standards, safety norms, documentation accuracy, and smooth execution of activities at EMS/Battery/BESS/Solar construction sites. The role requires solid technical understanding, reporting discipline, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Quality Planning & Strategy
-Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), QAP, ITP, and inspection procedures.
-Define quality objectives, KPIs, NCR strategy, and vendor quality standards.
-Liaise with engineering, procurement, OEMs, and EPC teams to establish quality requirements.
2.2 Project Quality Assurance & Compliance
-Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, safety norms & statutory requirements.
-Approve inspection checklists, SOPs, method statements, and test plans.
-Conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and process audits at factory and site.
2.3 Construction & Installation Quality Control
-Review and approve quality documents for civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, fire systems, and BESS installations.
-Ensure correct installation of MMS, modules, SCB/PCU, transformers, BESS racks, HVAC, and fire suppression systems.
-Validate FAT/SAT protocols with OEMs for battery modules, PCS, transformers, LV/MV panels.
2.4 Non-Conformance Management
-Lead NCR/DR/Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
-Ensure root-cause analysis, permanent corrective actions, and closure of NCRs.
2.5 Documentation & Reporting
-Maintain Quality Registers, RFI logs, IRs, MIRs, test reports, and audit records.
-Provide weekly/monthly quality dashboards to senior management and clients. Required Qualifications & Skills
-7–12 years of experience in Quality Management within EMS, Battery Manufacturing, BESS, or Solar EPC projects.
-Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma relevant to specialization.
-Must have solid experience in ISO QMS, internal audits, supplier audits, and CAPA implementation.
-Hands-on experience managing factory and project-site quality activities.
