The Finance team at Benefit Street Partners supports fund operations across a growing, global credit platform. The team partners closely with investment, operations, and corporate accounting colleagues to ensure accurate, timely financial processing. You will work in a professional, collaborative environment that values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Joining the team offers exposure to a complex asset management operation and opportunities to grow with a scaling organization Core Responsibilities:
- You will review invoices for policy compliance and accurate processing.
- You will submit invoices promptly and follow defined procedures.
- You will resolve invoice questions from internal stakeholders.
- You will track open items and support error resolution. Expense & Close Activities:
- You will monitor travel and entertainment expenses against company policy.
- You will maintain complete and auditable expense documentation.
- You will support monthly and annual close activities, including accruals. Process & Collaboration:
- You will partner with vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- You will recommend improvements to accounts payable processes.
- You will support ad hoc finance projects as business needs evolve. Experience:
- 2–3 years of accounts payable and expense management experience.
- Experience in a Shared Service Center environment. Education & Certifications:
- Commerce degree or equivalent practical experience. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, including Coupa or Workday. Soft Skills:
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a service-focused environment. Work Shift Timings
