Job Title: Controller of Examination (CoE) Institution: NET’s - Navodaya Institute of Technology Location: Raichur, Karnataka About the Job role: We are looking for a highly organized, responsible, and experienced professional for the position of Controller of Examinations (CoE) to oversee and manage all examination-related activities of the institution. The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain complete confidentiality and integrity in the examination process.Key Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate internal, semester-end, supplementary, and autonomous examinations. - Ensure fair, smooth, and transparent conduct of examinations as per academic regulations. - Supervise confidential activities related to question paper setting, printing, storage, and distribution.- Monitor answer script evaluation and ensure timely declaration of examination results. - Maintain complete confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the examination process. - Coordinate with department heads, faculty members, and university authorities regarding examination activities.- Manage hall tickets, examination schedules, grade sheets, and student academic records. - Handle examination grievances, malpractice cases, revaluation, and backlog examination processes. - Ensure adherence to autonomous and university examination guidelines and procedures. - Support continuous improvement of examination systems and academic administrative processes.Required Skills&Competencies: - Strong leadership and administrative skills. - Excellent organizational and coordination abilities. - Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure. - High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of examination management systems and academic regulations.- Proficiency in MS Office and academic/examination software. Required Qualifications&Experience: - Education: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. A Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology/Management is preferred. - Experience: A minimum of 10 to 15 years of teaching experience in an AICTE-approved institution, with at least 3 to 5 years of active experience in examination cell administration (e.g., as an Assistant/Deputy CoE).- Core Competencies: Absolute integrity, strong analytical skills, expertise in examination automation software, and deep knowledge of regulatory guidelines.
