M arut is now looking for experienced agri-sales professionals who understand agri-mechanisation, dealer networks, farmer psychology, and rural territory growth. If you are an agri-mechanisation channel builder and have built dealer networks, handled rural territories, and driven primary & secondary sales, this role is for you. Role Purpose : To expand Marut’s agri-drone sales and distribution network by building solid dealer partnerships, driving rural penetration, and increasing adoption of drone-based spraying solutions across assigned territories. Key Responsibilities 1️⃣ Dealer & Channel Development
- Appoint and develop agri-equipment dealers and sub-dealers
- Strengthen relationships with existing tractor/farm equipment dealers
- Ensure dealer ROI and retail movement
- Expand distribution in high-potential agri-clusters 2️⃣ Territory Sales Execution
- Drive monthly primary & secondary sales targets
- Track retail billing and territory performance
- Identify high-demand crop zones for drone spraying 3️⃣ Farmer & Market Activation
- Conduct village-level demos and farmer meetings
- Organize field trials and awareness programs
- Educate dealers and farmers on drone spraying benefits
- Work closely with FPOs, agri-influencers, and local agri-networks 4️⃣ Revenue & Target Achievement
- Achieve assigned territory sales targets
- Monitor pipeline and lead conversions
- Support institutional and subsidy-based sales where applicable 5️⃣ Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities (tractor, tillage, irrigation, drone brands)
- Identify new growth pockets
- Provide field feedback for product improvement Knowledge And Skill Required
- 5–8 years of experience in Tractor / Farm Machinery / Irrigation / Crop Protection / agri-drones
- Strong dealer & sub-dealer network in assigned state
- Experience in rural market expansion
- Hands-on experience in village demos and farmer engagement
- Understanding of agri sales cycle and seasonal demand
- Exposure to subsidy-driven or institutional sales is an advantage
- Self-driven, field-oriented and target-focused Qualifications
- Graduate (Agriculture / Engineering / Business preferred)
- MBA in Marketing (added advantage, not mandatory)
- Strong communication skills in local language of the region Compensation
