Key Responsibilities of an ENT Specialist:

● Diagnosis and Treatment : Treating conditions affecting hearing, balance, speech,

swallowing, and the respiratory system.

● Surgical Interventions : Performing surgeries for ear infections, nasal issues, sinus

problems, and throat disorders.

Common Conditions Treated:

● Ear : Hearing loss, ear infections, tinnitus, balance disorders.

● Nose : Sinus infections, nasal obstructions, allergies, deviated septum.

● Throat : Tonsillitis, voice disorders, swallowing difficulties, throat cancer.

● Head & Neck : Tumors, cysts, or other abnormalities in the head and neck.

Common ENT Surgeries:

Tonsillectomy : Removal of the tonsils.

Septoplasty : Correcting a deviated septum.

Myringotomy : Inserting tubes in the ears to treat chronic infections.

Endoscopic Sinus Surgery : Treating chronic sinusitis.
