Procurement Engineer Saravanampatti

We are looking for a fresher as Procurement Engineer to manage our sourcing and vendor management processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that high-quality parts are procured at the best possible price while maintaining robust relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and onboard current vendors for machine components and materials. Negotiate with suppliers to get high-quality parts at competitive prices. Ensure timely procurement of required components to avoid production delays. Work closely with the production and quality teams to meet company standards. Maintain vendor records, purchase orders, and cost analysis reports. Continuously explore cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Skills Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome. Robust negotiation and communication skills. Basic knowledge of quality inspection and vendor management. Ability to work independently and handle multiple procurement activities. Familiarity with sourcing mechanical components is a plus.
