Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER for an upcoming 4 Star Hotel in Guruvayur. As an EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time senior position based in Guruvayur, Kerala, India, with an employment type of 'Full-Time'.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of housekeeping procedures, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness standards.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using housekeeping software and computer systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certifications or training in housekeeping management is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of housekeeping services, including cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory management.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to meet high-quality standards and provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Plan and schedule staff shifts, assignments, and rotations to ensure proper coverage.
- Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Oversee the inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for housekeeping staff.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
