Fitter (Sadashivpet)

Position: Fitter Department: Maintenance / Production Location: Factory Unit Job Summary: The Fitter is responsible for installation, maintenance, repair and smooth functioning of machinery and equipment used in the chilli processing and grinding unit. The role includes preventive maintenance, breakdown handling and ensuring uninterrupted production operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, fitting and alignment of machinery, motors, conveyors, grinders, pulverizers and packing equipment.
- Carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the factory.
- Checking machine performance regularly and identifying mechanical faults or abnormalities.
- Repairing worn-out or damaged machine parts, bearings, belts, shafts and other mechanical components.
- Ensuring proper lubrication and maintenance schedules for all equipment.
- Assisting in fabrication and modification works required for production improvement.
- Coordinating with electricians and production staff during maintenance activities.
- Maintaining tools, equipment and workshop area in proper condition.
- Following safety procedures while carrying out maintenance and repair activities.
- Reducing machine downtime and ensuring continuous plant operations.
- Maintaining maintenance records and reporting major issues to management.
- Supporting installation of new machinery and production line modifications when required. Skills Required:
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and fitting works
- Understanding of industrial machinery and tools
- Ability to handle grinders, conveyors and processing equipment
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic welding and fabrication knowledge preferred Pay: ₹12,000.00
