The Chance

We are seeking a visionary and accomplished academic leader to serve as Director, School of Management. This is a senior role with full responsibility for the academic, operational, and strategic direction of the school. The Director will work closely with University leadership to strengthen research output, industry partnerships, accreditation standing, and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and academic leadership across all management programmes (BBA, MBA, and allied specialisations) Drive curriculum innovation, ensuring alignment with industry needs and emerging business trends Lead faculty recruitment, development, and performance management Strengthen research culture — publications, funded projects, and faculty-industry collaborations Build and sustain relationships with corporates for placements, live projects, and executive education Oversee accreditation processes (NBA, NAAC) and institutional rankings initiatives Represent the school at national and international academic forums Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to support enrolment growth and brand visibility

Candidate Profile PhD in Management or a related discipline from a reputed institution Minimum 15 years of experience in academia, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role (Dean / Director / HoD level) Strong publication record and research credentials Proven track record in team leadership, institutional building, and stakeholder engagement Experience with accreditation bodies (NBA / NAAC) preferred Excellent communication and executive presence Industry experience or solid industry connect is a significant advantage
