Azure Platform Engineer (Vijaypur)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver enterprise-scale, mission-critical technology solutions that support large-scale digital transformation initiatives for clients.
- Lead cloud modernization and transformation programs for enterprise customers across AWS and Azure environments.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud architectures and services, including hands-on expertise with core services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, networking, VPNs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
- Work with migration and assessment tools including AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), Azure Migrate, ModelizeIT, and VMware vRNI (Aria Operations) for planning and executing cloud migration strategies.
- Apply cloud security and governance best practices using services such as IAM, KMS, and Security Groups, along with knowledge of operational excellence, monitoring, automation, logging, and compliance standards within AWS and Azure ecosystems.
- Analyze cloud utilization and optimize infrastructure costs through effective resource sizing, performance tuning, and cost-management strategies in AWS and Azure.
- Build and manage containerized platforms using technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS), Service Mesh solutions (Istio, Solo), Ingress Controllers, Calico/CNI networking, Network Policies, GitOps tools (ArgoCD/FluxCD), CRDs, and Blue-Green deployment models.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools including Jenkins, Spacelift, GitHub Actions, Harness, Azure DevOps, and AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, ARM Templates, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, Bicep, Python Boto3, along with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
- Possess working knowledge of VMware technologies including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and VMware HCX for workload and VM migration.
- Design and build AI-enabled cloud platforms leveraging cloud-native AI services such as AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Google Vertex AI.
- Work with up-to-date AI frameworks including LangChain and LangSmith, with experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based applications and AI workflows. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- Prior experience working within Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure teams.
- 8+ years of overall IT industry experience, including at least 4+ years focused on cloud technologies, migration, automation, application modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting capability, and business understanding to drive technical discussions and strategic customer initiatives.
- Relevant cloud and platform certifications preferred, including AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Networking/Security Specialty, Azure Administrator Associate, CKA/CKAD/CKS, Terraform Associate, Argo Certified Engineer, and Istio certifications.
