Lapping / Grinding Machine Operator (Budge Budge)

We are looking for a skilled Lapping / Grinding Machine Operator with hands-on precision machining experience. The candidate should be capable of operating, setting up, and adjusting lapping or grinding machines with accuracy. Experience in operating Speedfam Lapping Machines will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise setup and adjustment of lapping or grinding machines.
- Operate lapping/grinding machines as per production requirements.
- Speedfam lapping machine operation experience will be considered an added benefit.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.
- Ensure machining accuracy and maintain required surface finish standards.
- Monitor machine performance and perform fine adjustments when required.
- Maintain basic safety standards during operations.
- Keep machines and work area clean and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with supervisor for daily production tasks. Required Skills & Competencies:
- Hands-on expertise in lapping / grinding machine operations.
- Ability to perform precise machine setup, alignment, and adjustment.
- Knowledge of Speedfam or similar lapping machines (preferred).
- Robust understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Skilled in using measuring tools for inspection.
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent (preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience operating lapping or grinding machines. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,000.00
