Senior Accounts Manager (Meerut)

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Manager with a strong background preferably in the sports industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and handling accounting functions. Key Responsibilities:
· Be responsible for timely & daily maintenance of all finance accounts, cash payment vouchers, Bank voucher, Journal vouchers etc., all bank accounts.
· Responsible for maintenance & reconciliation of stock & inventory accounts.
· Reconciliation of sundry creditors, debtors & inter unit reconciliation.
· To analyses receivable & payables.
· Being responsible for checking and reconciliation of records of branches/depot of the company.
· Be responsible for timely reconciliation, preparation and finalization of the final accounts of the company as well as balance sheet and profit & loss account income tax, sales tax and other returns pertaining to the business.
· Be responsible for preparing and filing weekly, monthly and annual returns.
· Be responsible maintaining and checking of overall accounts of suppliers and customers of the company.
· Be responsible for maintaining all statutory records in connection with import and export activities of the company.
· Responsible for managing fully internal & statutory audit of company’s accounts in cooperation with company’s auditors.
· Responsible for depositing of taxes in time.
· Be responsible for preparation of all the tax cases and assist the company’s advocates in completion of tax cases, appeals including appearing for tax case hearing.
· Supervise, control and manage the account staff.
· Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual GST returns.
· In charge of e-filling of GST returns & TDS returns & income tax returns, GST audit. Responsible for reconciliation 2A.
· Perform such duties & services in relation to the affairs of the company that may be assigned time to time. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance; CA Inter preferred
- 10–15 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, or similar tools.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust inter-personnel skills.
