You will lead a team of floor staff and merchandisers to ensure 100% stock availability, minimize wastage (expiry management), and drive volume-based sales.Key Responsibilit iesInventory&Category Manageme nt:Mana ge FEFO (First-Expired, First-O ut) a nd F IFO protocols rigorously to minimize shrinkage and dump/expiry loss es.Oversee daily 'Planogram' compliance to ensure high-margin FMCG products are at eye lev el.Coordinate with the warehouse or local Meerut distributors for timely indenting and GRN (Goods Received Note) processing.Team Leadership&Productivi ty:Lead a team of 10–15 associates, including cashiers, shelf-fillers, and delivery bo ys.Condu ct 'Line-up' meeti ngs to communicate daily sales targets and focus brands (e.g., private labels or seasonal promo s).Monitor staff productivity during peak footfall hours (typically evenings and weekends).Operational Contr ol:Ensure 100% accuracy in Price Tagging (SE Ls) and promotional signage across aisl es.Manage t he Home Deliv ery flow, ensuring local Meerut orders are dispatched within committed TAT (Turnaround Tim e).Supervise the 'Cash-and-Carry' or POS counters to ensure zero billing errors and minimal wait times.Compliance&Hygie ne:Maintain stri ct Food Safety and Standards (FSS AI) guidelines for storage and handli ng.Oversee the cleanliness of the 'Fresh' section (Fruits&Vegetables) and Dairy cold chain maintenan ce.Required Skills&Qualificati onsExperien ce: 3–5 years in FMCG Retail (e.g ., Reliance Fresh, Easyday, or Vishal Mega M ar t).Technical Skil ls:Advanced knowledge of Retail E RPs (SAP, Ginesys, or Microsoft Dynamic s).Stro ng MS Ex cel skills for 'Stock-Ageing' reports and 'Sales vs. Target' tracki ng.Competencies:Ability to work in a high-pressure, physically demanding environme nt.Strong local geography knowledge of Meerut for managing last-mile delivery operatio ns.Fluency in Punjabi and Hi ndi to effectively manage floor staff and local vendo rs.
