– Golden Munnar Palace by Hawk Hospitality Position: General Manager / Hotel Operations Manager Department: Hotel Operations Location: Golden Munnar Palace by Hawk Hospitality, Munnar, Kerala Role Overview The General Manager / Hotel Operations Manager will serve as the Operations Head for the hotel division, taking full ownership of business performance, operations, and guest satisfaction across one or more hotel properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive growth and profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in hospitality operations, team leadership, revenue management, and multi-department coordination. Key Responsibilities1. Operations Leadership & Ownership
- Take complete ownership of hotel operations and business performance, including revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee hotel operations and ensure consistent service standards across all departments.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Act as a key decision-maker and representative for the hotel division. 2. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
- Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and brand standards.
- Monitor daily operational reports and implement corrective actions when required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service quality. 3. Financial & Commercial Management
- Drive revenue growth through occupancy management, pricing strategies, and cost control.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports, and operational forecasts.
- Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support sales initiatives, corporate tie-ups, and business development activities. 4. People Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and operational teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Oversee recruitment, staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and employee engagement initiatives. 5. Guest Experience & Brand Development
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and reputation management platforms.
- Handle guest escalations professionally and ensure quick resolution of concerns.
- Maintain consistent brand standards and guest experience across operations. 6. Expansion & Growth
- Support management in new property development and operational setup.
- Assist in planning and executing business expansion strategies.
- Evaluate operational performance and recommend strategic improvements. Key Skills & Attributes

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role such as General Manager or Operations Head.
- Proven experience in managing hotel operations and business performance.
- Experience in business and leisure hospitality segments preferred. Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹85,000 per month
