Industrial Engineer - Garments (Karur)

We are looking for a performance-driven Industrial Engineer to optimize production efficiency and improve operational processes in our home textile manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Conduct time & motion studies to improve efficiency ✔ Analyze production processes and implement productivity improvements ✔ Optimize manpower utilization & workflow planning ✔ Develop and monitor line balancing & capacity planning ✔ Reduce wastage, cost & cycle time ✔ Prepare SOPs, process documentation & MIS reports ✔ Work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement (Lean practices) ✔ Monitor KPIs like efficiency, output, and quality

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts

- Experience in time study, motion study & line balancing

- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma tools

- Knowledge of production planning & process optimization

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in MS Excel & reporting tools

- Positive communication and shop-floor coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- BE / B.Tech in Industrial Engineering / Textile / Mechanical

- Experience in home textiles / garment / textile manufacturing preferred
