Industrial Engineer - Garments (Karur)

We are looking for a performance -driven Industrial Engineer<\/b> to optimize production efficiency and improve operational processes in our home textile manufacturing unit<\/b>. <\/p> If you are solid in process improvement, time & motion study, and productivity enhancement<\/b>, this is your opportunity to make a real impact on shop -floor performance ? <\/p> Key Responsibilities:<\/b> <\/span> <\/h3> <\/p> â Conduct time & motion studies<\/b> to improve efficiency <\/div> â Analyze production processes and implement productivity improvements<\/b> <\/div> â Optimize manpower utilization & workflow planning<\/b> <\/div> â Develop and monitor line balancing & capacity planning<\/b> <\/div> â Reduce wastage, cost & cycle time<\/b> <\/div> â Prepare SOPs, process documentation & MIS reports<\/b> <\/div> â Work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement (Lean practices)<\/b> <\/div> â Monitor KPIs like efficiency, output, and quality<\/b> <\/div> <\/p> <\/div> <\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts<\/b> <\/li>
- Experience in time study, motion study & line balancing<\/b> <\/li>
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma tools<\/b> <\/li>
- Knowledge of production planning & process optimization<\/b> <\/li>
- Solid analytical and problem -solving skills <\/li>
- Proficiency in MS Excel & reporting tools<\/b> <\/li>
- Good communication and shop -floor coordination skills <\/li> <\/ul> Preferred Qualifications:<\/b> <\/span> <\/h3>
- BE / B.Tech in Industrial Engineering / Textile / Mechanical <\/li>
- Experience in home textiles / garment / textile manufacturing<\/b> preferred <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div> <\/span>
