About BigOHealth BigOHealth is a health tech startup supported by IIT Patna, HDFC bank, BBC Bangalore, IIM Udaipur, USAID etc. Through our platform we help patients' with complex illness connect with right super specialists&provide end-to-end services right from second opinion to hospitalisation&post-op care. We are growing our on-ground presence in Bihar and looking for a driven Business Development Executive to lead patient acquisition and clinic partnerships in Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga. Role Overview As the Business Development Executive for Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga, you will be the face of BigOHealth in these cities. Your primary responsibility is to drive business growth - measured by the number of patients enrolled on our platform for specialist consultations. You will work directly with patients, caregivers, and hospital administration to build trust, create awareness, and ensure a steady pipeline of patients being served through our partner clinics.Key Responsibility● Drive patient enrollment: Identify and onboard patients and their caregivers onto the BigOHealth platform across Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga. ● Patient referrals: Facilitate referrals for surgical consultations and specialist OPDs; own the referral pipeline from initiation to appointment confirmation.● Clinic&hospital relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with oncologists, cancer specialists, and hospital administration in your territory.● On-ground outreach: Conduct field visits to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, and patient support groups to create awareness about BigOHealth's services.● Patient and caregiver support: Serve as a first point of contact for patients and families navigating treatment options; guide them through the care coordination process. ● Coordination with hospital admin: Work with hospital administration teams to ensure smooth patient flow, documentation,and follow-up processes.● Reporting: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, referrals, and enrollment data; provide regular updates on targets and progress. ● Feedback loop: Relay on-ground patient and doctor feedback to the BigOHealth product and clinical team to continuously improve service delivery What we are looking for● 2-5 years of experience in a hospital-facing role - specifically in doctor or clinic relationship management, hospital sales, or medical coordination. ● Strong understanding of how hospitals and specialist clinics operate in Bihar; familiarity with the healthcare ecosystem in Muzaffarpur or Darbhanga is a strong plus.● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - you should be comfortable speaking with doctors, hospital administrators, patients, and caregivers with equal ease. ● Self-motivated and target-driven; someone who takes ownership of their numbers without needing constant supervision. ● Ability to work independently in the field with minimal hand-holding.● Basic proficiency with smartphones and apps for reporting and communication (WhatsApp, Google Sheets etc). ● Prior experience in surgical sales, or patient coordination roles will be preferred. Compensation Compensation will be a combination of fixed as well as performance based incentive. This will be finalised on the basis of experience of the candidate as well as market trends.
