Experience 10 + Years Core Need Client is looking for a strong hands-on Senior Android Lead who can work on a large existing enterprise Android application with complex workflows, offline functionality, local database handling, and runtime/background execution challenges. What They Want in Candidate Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on coding experience in Kotlin and Android SDK
- Deep understanding of Android fundamentals (Lifecycle, Services, Threads, Memory, Performance)
- Strong experience with:
- MVVM / MVI / Clean Architecture
- Room / SQLite / local persistence
- API integration
- Concurrency / Coroutines / Flow
- WorkManager / Services / Foreground Services
- Debugging crashes, ANR, memory leaks

Practical Experience Required Offline-First Applications Need candidate who has worked on apps where internet may fail. Should know:
- Local data storage
- Queue pending actions locally
- Sync data when network returns
- Retry failed requests
- Prevent duplicate records
- Resolve local vs server data conflicts

Large Existing App Experience Client wants someone comfortable with:
- Legacy codebase
- Existing modules
- Refactoring old code
- Adding features without breaking production

(Not just fresh app development) Real-World Engineering Judgment Candidate should know when to use:
- WorkManager
- Foreground Service
- Background Service
- Local DB cache
- Search optimization for large local data

Need someone who can think independently. Preferred Background
- Tablet-based Android apps
