Lead Design Engineer (Bengaluru Urban)

Designation : Lead Design Engineer Reporting to : Project Lead Design Location : Bangalore, Full Time Qualification : BE / M-Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience : 6-8 Years Position Overview This role is one of the senior members in the Design team for Graver Technologies. The role is to execute the engineering activities such as detailed design, design calculations, Tolerance stack ups, manufacturing drawings, implement new methods, designs and products. The selected candidate will be responsible for generation and quality of deliverables and for managing time and cost of all the projects executed. Mandatory Skills (Must have)  Hands-on experience in static equipment modelling and generation of manufacturing drawings  Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with ASME Section VIII, Division 1 metallic pressure vessel design and construction  Direct experience with metallic pressure vessels, including welding details, shell/head/nozzle forming, ASME SA material specifications, PWHT, and hydrostatic testing  Ability to independently perform ASME Section VIII Division 1 design calculations, prepare supporting documentation, and ensure code compliance with minimal supervision  Strong understanding of pressure vessel construction, including fabrication practices, piping interfaces, vessel supports, and pressure-retaining components Desired Skills (Nice to have)  Experience with SolidWorks PDM / 3D Experience  Robust cross-functional collaboration skills with manufacturing and quality teams  Experience supporting RFQs and customer engineering requirements, including customer interaction  Experience working in a global engineering environment  Experience in technical writing and engineering documentation  Exposure to advanced engineering analysis or simulation tools  Experience in cost optimization and value engineering  Prior experience in mentoring or guiding junior design engineers  Familiarity with engineering change management (ECN/ECR) and formal design review processes  Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical design and water treatment equipment Opportunities for Growth

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline
