Essential Requirements & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Scheduling: Create master brewing and packaging schedules, accounting for strict lead times, fermentation/conditioning durations, and equipment availability. Inventory Management: Monitor raw materials (malts, hops, yeast) and packaging supplies (bottles, cans, kegs, labels) to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages. Capacity Utilization: Optimize batch sizes and tank turnover rates to maximize brewery output and minimize downtime. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with the Head Brewer, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to align production outputs with market demand and promotional calendars. Quality & Compliance Control: Ensure all schedules adhere to food safety and regulatory standards, integrating quality testing holds into the production timeline. Experience: 3–5 years in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably within food & beverage or FMCG. Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the brewing process, fermentation cycles, and packaging lines is highly advantageous. Software Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ekos, or Ollie) and advanced Excel. Analytical Skills: Solid ability to forecast demand, calculate material requirements, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like schedule adherence and tank utilization.
