Murex Technical Consultant (Mysuru)

Murex Integration Business Analyst / Technical Consultant We are seeking an experienced Murex Integration Business Analyst / Technical Consultant with expertise in delivering end-to-end solutions across the Murex MX.3 platform lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in Murex integration, trade workflows, data flows, system interfaces, and capital markets environments. This is a fully remote role supporting a global implementation program, requiring collaboration with distributed teams and stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, and Back Office functions. Location: Fully Remote Duration: 12 months contract + possible extensions Start Data: ASAP Time Zone: US EST, 9,5 hours difference with IST Key Responsibilities: Design and implement integration solutions between Murex and external systems for trade and market data feeds.
- Develop trade workflows and interfaces for:
- Trade capture and processing
- Data ingestion and validation
- Acknowledgement and downstream communication Utilize integration tools such as:
- MXML Exchange
- MX OpenConnect
- Murex APIs
- Datamart
- Configure and manage end-to-end data flows across pre-trade and post-trade processes. Deliver services across the full MX.3 lifecycle including:
- Requirements analysis
- Configuration build
- Installation & deployment
- Testing & validation
- Upgrade & release management
- Production support Install, configure, and support Murex interfaces such as:
- MDIT (Market Data Interface Tool)
- Markitwire
- BSMT
- MarkitCredit Integrate with external providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit for:
- Live market data
- End-of-day feeds
- Ensure seamless STP (Straight Through Processing) across systems.
- Build and execute test cases for integration, functional, and UAT phases. Work closely with:
- Front Office, Back Office, Risk teams
- S4C stream leads and Project Managers
- Product development teams
- Gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure timely delivery. Technical Skills: Work with technologies including:
- SQL and Unix
- Shell / Python scripting for automation Utilize Murex proprietary tools and languages such as:
- MSL (Murex Scripting Language)
- XMLF (post-trade processing)
- MxML
- Data Query Language (DQL) Use SQL for:
- Reporting
- P&L; analysis
- STP failure investigation
- Trade feed analysis
