Job Profile Questionnaire Autoliv Job Profile Executive / Assistant Manager Structure Basic Information Division/Function Production Job Location AIX - Mysore Position Direct Manager Manufacturing Manager Dotted Line Manager NA Direct Reports 20 Associates Job GradeM3-I / M3-II Job Context Job Summary Manage Dyeing recipe and adjust dye recipe to match shade in serial production (100% Polyester– Continuous Dyeing) Train the Dyeing technicians to the role of team leaders through continuous coaching and mentoring Ensure that the production quality is meeting specification requirements and adjust process parameters accordingly.Maintain department documents for systems like ISO TS 16949 (similar to ISO 9001), ISO 14001, OHSA'S and other production system requirements of the organization Experience in implementation of lean manufacturing techniques Taking care of daily production activities in dyeing department Strategic Context and ChallengesManage and control cost, productivity and quality in Dyeing Department. Manage employees, direct work assignments and evaluate employee performance. (Work Force of 20 in shift basis) Foster a culture of continuous improvement in a team-focused environment Complete involvement in lean management system as well as activities like APS, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Muda elimination, etc.Provides challenging and lengthy tasks or assignments. Holds regular development discussions Constructs engaging development plans and performs them. Encourages direct reports to accept developmental steps Is a people builder Deliverables S– Safety (Zero Accident near miss in production area)Q- Quality (Scrap in actual against defined target) D- Deliverable (Achieve Production plan Vs actual 100%) C- Cost with respect to spares department expenditure M- Moral (With respect to suggestion absenteeism) Tasks and Responsibilities Core Responsibilities and Activities Working in 3 shifts need based.Manage and control cost, productivity and quality in Dyeing Department. Manage employees, direct work assignments and evaluate employee performance. (Work Force of 20 in shift basis) Production planning execution based on supply chain demand Manage Dyeing recipe and adjust dye recipe to match shade in serial production (100% Polyester– Continuous Dyeing)Train the dyeing technicians to the role of team leaders through continuous coaching and mentoring Ensure that the production quality is meeting speciation requirements and adjust process parameters accordingly. Daily coordination with Quality Team to maintain quality and avoid scrap.
