Job Title Structural Modelling & Detailing Engineering Manager Location Chithanthopu, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu Office-based role Job Type Full-time Job Summary Mikan Engineering and Construction Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Structural Modelling & Detailing Engineering Manager to lead our structural detailing team. The candidate must have robust experience in structural steel/RCC modelling, drawing checking, team management, and client coordination. Responsibilities
- Lead structural modelling and detailing team.
- Check GA drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and connection details.
- Review 3D models for accuracy, clashes, and constructability.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams.
- Ensure drawings are submitted on time with proper quality.
- Guide and train junior engineers/detailers.
- Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and checklists. Requirements
- 5–10 years’ experience in structural modelling/detailing.
- Minimum 2 years’ team-leading experience preferred.
- Experience in Tekla / Advance Steel / Revit Structure / AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of structural steel and RCC detailing.
- Ability to read design drawings and prepare/check shop drawings.
- Knowledge of AISC, Eurocode, BS, or IS codes preferred.
- Strong 3D visualisation and checking skills.
